Curved screen TV will be sold at select retailers around the country starting this week and will appear on other European markets in the fourth quarter.

DisplaySearch estimates that Europe will represent 30% of the global market for OLED TVs by 2017. All the same research firm predicts a demand of more than seven million units by 2016.
Being the first company to offer large-screen OLED TV to the U.S. and Europe, LG will be the company that will set the standard for the next generation of television.

Curved screen OLED TV will be presented to German buyers at a special event to be held at HIFI Profis in Frankfurt, a high profile merchant in Frankfurt. Single TV in Germany will have a suggested retail price of 8,999 euros. Prices for other European markets will be announced at launch.
