This application is only available for Android OS, but users who don’t use this app will also be able to receive messages. In order to use this service, you need to download the application and follow simple guides for setting it up. When you are done, you can leave your phone and go to a website where you can send messages and call people.

A message sent with PPL Connect will have “via pplco.mobi” and that is the only difference between this and regular message. This is very useful if you need to save your battery if it is about to get empty.

PPL Connect provides you an option to call people. You can call any number by using your mobile phone, even when it is off. In other words, if you lose your phone or it gets broken, you will be able to make calls.

Unfortunately, this option is still limited, you cannot receive calls, and the call price is 3 cents per minute and it only functions in America and Canada.

The app is still in Beta, so it has some bugs. PPL Connect is not yet available for many countries around the world, but, I hope we will get this option soon.
