Inventions of WWI don't stop! There is more! Even more than in this article!

Tea bags

They weren’t invented to solve some war issue. But it was an idea of an American tee seller. But Teekanne copied the idea and sent the tea to the battlefield in it.

 

 

Hand watches

It was invented long before, but it got a widespread use in the WWI. The artillery had to be synchronized somehow. And the pilots needed it too.

It’s not something hippie. It’s an idea from the first German Chanselor agter the WWII, Konrad Adenauer.

Koln, the city he governated was literaly starving in WWI. So he had the idea how to substitute the meat. Then the soybeans entered in the sausafes.
