Toyota Prius is the best sold car with hybrid system in the world and at the same time the car that influenced most on development and massive usage of modern hybrid vehicles. It all started not so long ago in 1995, when Toyota presented a concept as an announcement of the first production model of Prius.

The development of Prius started in 1994 under a name G21, and the prototype is shown in public on a car fair in Tokyo.
