A new Tesla's battery will be able to power a whole house.

Tesla company will launch a new product at the end of April, and that product is not a car. This was recently announced by the CEO and founder of the company, billionaire and innovator Elon Mask.

However, it is expected that this secret product is going use technology developed by the company for its electric cars, as reported by BGR. More precisely, it is considered that Tesla is going to launch a battery strong enough to power a whole house, and one analyst has found out everything there is to know about this revolutionary product.

Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry, said that Tesla is to launch home battery that uses solar energy to power house and even sends electricity back to the power grid.

The battery has allegedly already been tested in 230 houses in California,  with 100 more Tesla Stationary Batteries being placed in homes out of the state. One of the users said he already uses this battery placed in his garage for the past year and a half.

According to Chowdry, a 10 kWh battery will cost $ 13,000, with a 50% rebate from PG&E. There is also a 15 KWh version.

The battery must be installed 45 cm above the ground and should have an open space of at least 30 cm around it. Once placed in the home, the battery does not need to be maintained and does not make any noise. It is about 90 cm high and 75 cm wide.

The battery can be controlled via smartphone or internet applications. Its software is currently wirelessly receiving updates every month.

The Tesla battery can be powered by solar energy, power grid and generators, but it can also feed back electricity to the grid, as is previously mentioned.
