This technological boom is created by Professor John Rogers of the University of Illinois.
With the help of miniature sensors that adhere to the skin of the user, Biostamp detects brain waves in real time and displays them on a computer screen. This principle of identifying the brain waves was possible before, but with the help of a specially designed helmet with a lot of wires.
Rogers has radically changed this principle, by designing almost invisible transparent stamp that can easily be affixed to the skin, which transmits the data to the computer screen wirelessly.
It can be worn anytime and anywhere, and scientists already predict a great success of this invention in the near future, primarily in the field of medicine and prevention of certain diseases, such as epilepsy attacks.
It was unofficially stated that the US military is also interested in the invention, cause it would thus have a complete overview of the physical condition of its troops.
For now, the Biostamp is still in the testing phase, and is only used on guinea pigs. However, the results show that in the near future it could be used on humans.
