Everyone who has been engaged in SEO optimization is aware of how difficult this activity is. It takes a number of activities that we have to do and the terms which we must fulfill in order to achieve good results.

For that reason, it would be a good idea to have an SEO checklist in front of you that will help us track the realized SEO activities and activities that we are going to implement.

SEO CHECKLIST

•  Do you have a clear goal? Did you define what you want to achieve with the site?
•  Have you created an account on Google webmaster tools?
•  Have you created a Google Analytics account?
•  Have you created a sitemap and did you place it in the Google webmaster tool?
•  Have you made a Google+ account? Did you verify the authorship of your site?
•  Have you made an account on any of the following social networks: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or Tumblr?

•  Have you set up your company on Google Maps?
•  Do you have a list of explored and high-quality keywords?
•  Have you created a new page for each keyword that you want to position yourself?
•  Have you included keywords in the URL, title, text, meta-description, and heading tag?
•  Have you added keywords in several alt image tags?
•  Is your phone number and address on each page visible? (It’s recommended to be in the footer)
•  Have you added a social network sharing button to a site?
•  Have you allowed each page of your site to reach up to 3 clicks from the cover page?
•  Do you update your site at least once a month? Do you have fresh information?
•  Do you run a blog?

•  Is the site well displayed on all browsers and at all resolutions?
•  Have you set up a site for local and business-related directories?
•  Did you ask partners to link to you?

Whether you have your site for which you want good positions in search results or work for other clients, the basic SEO checklist will always help you to form a good SEO strategy and make sure you use the full potential of existing SEO opportunities.
