Here are some of the things you can do to simplify your life and reach goals.

Be Grateful

If might sound like a cliché, but it’s really the basis of having a heathy mindset and lifestyle.

Think about the times we are living in. If you are reading this, you probably have a PC, laptop, smartphone or a tablet. There are so many possible variations of tech that allow you to access this information and most of us take it for granted. The ability to get instant knowledge about certain topics and the speed at which you can do it is amazing.

Sure, the world has become too complicated sometimes. Social media, ads, fads and what not! You can’t be expected to follow and know it all, all the time! That’s where you need to look within yourself and be grateful for what you have. Don’t overthink about the new things that you want to own and find balance in simplicity. Maybe minimalism is the way to go?

Declutter

Let’s take an example of decluttering your home.

If you ever feel like you spend too much time organizing and cleaning your home, here’s how to make your like easier.

First of all, make a simple plan. It’s very important to plan ahead in order to know what will go where and what will go out forever.

Second, rate your clutter. Make sure that you know the places in your home that get you most stressed and that you spend the most time cleaning. For example, examine the amount of dishes you are using in your kitchen when preparing meals on daily basis. If you find that there is stuff that’s standing around most of the time without being use – do something about it. Pack it away or give it away altogether.

Third, make sure that you give complete focus to one room or space at a time. You don’t want to be running around the place trying to do everything at once. This will save your time and energy.

This principle can be applied to every part of life. READ MORE – Minimalism - Declutter Your Home

Slow Down

Take the foot of the gas a bit! Most of the time, this kind of psychological brake will be against your initial instinct, but you should fight them. Start focusing more on the things you are doing in the given moment, without worrying about the next thing you have to do. In order to do that, improve your organization skills and don’t worry ahead, because everything is going to be done according to plan.

Take time to breathe and focus on your own energy and body to get through some difficult tasks.

Taking things slow is also going to make you an active participant in your own life and remove the feeling that you are just watching it pass you by. It all really is about those ‘little’ things!

Re-Think Goals

Some of your bigger goals can be holding you back from first reaching the small ones. And without small ones you can’t get the big ones. Think of it all as a staircase where you really shouldn’t be jumping steps.

You want to expand your business? But, do you really want do to it? Think about all the things that will cost you. Not just the money. Think about time, stress, sleepless nights. If sacrificing all of that is worth the money you will get from the expansion, do it! If not, enjoy what you already have.
